To explore such opportunistic behaviour, and to design solutions to mitigate it, we propose the e3control approach. This approach takes the valuable objects, which are exchanged between enterprises, as a point of departure, and proposes a control patterns library to find solutions for various types of opportunistic behavior in network organisations. The practical use of the patterns are illustrated by a case study in the field of renewable electricity supply in UK.}, NOTE = {DOI 10.1109/RE.2007.67}, KEYWORDS = {CONNECTED_WORLD} }

We present a conceptual framework that addresses scalability from these two perspectives. To explore scalability of distributed services, our framework employs a value model and UML deployment model to describe scalability concerns of a distributed, commercial IT service. We illustrate our approach by a case study.}, KEYWORDS = {CONNECTED_WORLD} }
